ChardikalaTIME TV is run by Charhdikala Group of Newspapers. Mr Jagjit Singh Dardi is the chairman of this group. This group is publishing “Daily Charhdikala”, “Daily Bharat Desh Hamara” and “Business Times” from the capital city Delhi and Patiala. The “Charhdikala” is continuously being published for the last 35 years. This group is also running educational institutes. Mr Dardi is the founder and chairman of Shri Guru Harkrishan Public School New Delhi Public School and Shri Guru Harkrishan College of Management and Technology, Patiala. Mr Jagjit Singh Dardi is son of leading Akali leader and freedom fighter, Late Giani Harnam Singh Ji. Mr Dardi is dynamic personality capable of an impressive and fearless leadership. He is also awarded and honor in India and abroad for his contribution to society.  In 1993, Mr Dardi accompanied the then Prime Minister Mr P. V. Narshimha Rao, as a part of his press delegation to Dhaka SAARC summit and also visited Thialand with him. In 1996, Mr Dardi was the member of delegation that accompanied Mr P.V. Narsimha Rao on his official visit to Malaysia. In 1995 as member of Prime Minister Delegation, he visited Argentina for the G 15 summit and also went to African countries. In 1998 he accompanied the Prime Minister to participate in the UN General Assembly in New York and to the French capital of Paris. In 1999, Mr Dardi went to Lahore, Pakistan with the Prime Minster Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee.  In 2000, at the invitation of President of USA, he accompanied the Prime Minister to New York and White House (Washington) and the US Parliament. In 2004, he participated in SAARC summit held at Islamabad with Prime Minister. He also had meeting with the president of Pakistan which was televised globally. Mr Dardi is journalist accredited by the parliament of India. On June 17, 1998 the speaker of Lok Sabha nominated him as the member of Press Advisory Committee of Parliament.
